The event has been themed: "Your Wing, Your Neighbours" and is aimed at showcasing 8 Wing and CFB Trenton personnel, equipment and capabilities to members of the local community. During the event we will also be celebrating the 80th Anniversary of flying operations in Trenton.

The 8 Wing/CFB Trenton Open House is not an Air Show and will not feature flying demonstrations. Rather Wing Squadrons and units will be asked to set up various displays and exhibits featuring current roles and historical perspectives. In addition, static aircraft from all seven 8 Wing fleets will be on display and guided tours of the aircraft will be offered to the public.
